James Krembs, founder of Krembs is passionate about shears. Over the last 20 years, he has studied extensively in Japan with master craftsmen, learning the complex art of shear making. He is familiar with all brands of shears and has designed many of the Krembs models personally. He has also developed a fantastic shear education book and DVD in order to help new stylists understand the choices available and what to look for in choosing a shear. He is dedicated to reaching out to all stylists in order to fight unethical shear companies with a good sales pitch, selling inferior products to unsuspecting stylists.
